Hemorrhoids Go Away
Hemorrhoids are like the unwanted relatives that come into our house and refuse to leave. However, just like the techniques we use to gently chide our brother in law to move out, we can also find many techniques which will help remove the conditions that encourage the growth of hemorrhoids to go away.
The first time we realize that we have the problem of hemorrhoids; we are usually clueless as to what they are and how they can mess up our lives. Unfortunately, hemorrhoids may come and go many times in our lives and the only thing we can do is to change our habits and get healthier.
How can exercise help?
First thing you need to do is to allow yourself to relax. A crash course in yoga may help you relax and at the same time improve your circulation. As most of us know, hemorrhoids are just inflamed, swollen veins in our anal area. Sometimes these engorged veins may be inside the rectum and at other times, it may be outside the rectum at the mouth of the anus.
The big deal about diet changes
One of the big changes you need to make if you want hemorrhoids to go away is to change your diet. Your diet needs to be rich in fiber and low in glycemic index. Add a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet so that the natural fiber reduces constipation and eases the movement of stools through the intestines and the rectal canal.
Drink lots of water; 6-8 glasses of it every day. And it has to be pure, spring water. Most of our digestive problems are due to the large amount of pesticides, preservatives, additives, colorings and junk that manufacturers add to “foods” that we consume without a thought. These new chemicals are not recognized by the body and may stay in the intestines rotting, decaying and fermenting. This stuff is toxic and cannot move in our intestines and that may be the reason why we have constipation.
Detoxification tactics
Going on a detox diet once a month is a wonderful idea. It doesn’t have to be very drastic, just eat organic foods and less of it and that is a detox. Also, drink fruit juices or go on a juice fast. Other detox methods include herbs, colon cleanse methods, etc.
Detox methods focus on removing the muck that is inside our digestive system. It is the residue left from undigested chemicals that manufacturers add to processed foods. These chemicals are foreign to the body and do not speak its language. When the body sends out signal for this waste to get out through the colon, the waste just sits there glued to the intestinal walls as though it can’t hear. So the body can do nothing and the collected muck sometimes adds up to many pounds that we carry around our bodies every day!
Detox methods may be oral like taking pills to eliminate the toxins easily or it may be enemas which are applied through the anus. Either way, we get a lot of energy and feel lighter after the detox. Our body feels healthier and our skin is clearer.
We can keep illness away by taking care of ourselves. This includes not just thinking about today, but years ahead. Joining a health club or gym, going for swimming every evening, competing in a tennis tournament or other sports, preparing for a 5K walk, etc can be your goals for this year or the next.
